Scegliere il momento giusto per fotografare un dato luogo è fondamentale per la riuscita di un reportage.
Prima di partire bisogna avere in testa un’idea ben definita. Una volta individuata l’idea bisogna studiare le diverse possibilità e il momento migliore per realizzarle.
Le strade e i grattacieli svuotati dall’abituale frenesia possono dare incredibili sensazioni surreali!
Durante la nostra breve visita a Londra volevamo realizzare delle fotografie della parte moderna della città, la cosiddetta City.
Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare nella capitale britannica durante il Bank Holiday e, mentre tutti i siti turistici erano presi d’assalto, la City era completamente deserta. Proprio quello che desideravamo!
Scegliendo l’alloggio abbiamo optato per una soluzione comoda con il distretto finanziario. In questo modo sarebbe stato facile tornarci e meno faticoso andarci in orari particolari come la mattina presto.
Le fotografie realizzate utilizzando esclusivamente una lunghezza focale 35mm creano una suggestiva sensazione. Le strade e i grattacieli svuotati dall’abituale frenesia sono quasi surreali.

Before starting you should have a well-defined idea. Once done this you should study al the possibilities and the right moment to realise them.
The empty streets and the skyscrapers without the usual frenetic swarm can give an incredible surreal feeling!
During our short stay in London we would like to realize some shoots of the modern City.
We got luky to stay in London during Bank Holiday and, while every touristical site is assaulted by tourists, the City is empty. That’s what we were looking for!
Choosing our accomodation we looked for something convenient with the financial disctrict. So we had the opportunity to came back more time and have no problems to reach it early in the morning.
The photographs we realised using just a 35mm focal lenght can give suggestive feelings. The empty streets and the skyscrapers without the usual swarm are almost surreal.
